A Parkinson's Memoir

About The Book

First time author Mike Justak brings you along on his multi year journey showcasing his resilience and determination in the face of Parkinson's disease. Unshaken by the diagnosis, he creates his own foundation to give meaning and offer hope to others. During the fifteen year run he raised over $225,000 dollars. To do this he created a Holiday Light Show he called PD Shimmers. The show illuminated his neighborhood as he placed 60,000 lights on eight homes. The lights are there to represent each of the 60,000 Americans newly diagnosed that year. Justak's unwavering positive attitude shines through his personal anecdotes and storytelling style, providing insights to the specific methods to live a better life.

From the Book

Chapter: The Blues Brothers

...Despite all of the obstacles, the Blues Brothers manage to raise $5,000 and save the orphanage.

It was a little out there but you must admit it was unique and creative...
